Electronic Books : new freedom found

For the first time, people with visual impairments can have access to books on the go.  E-books are a convenient way to keep your favorite books with you at all times.  If you travel a lot, or are simply cramped for space where you live or work, you will enjoy having hours of reading with you wherever you go.

There are two ways to read books and articles found in electronic format.  You can read them on-line, with large private screen readers and a paperless braille display or you can download them to read off line either in hard copy braille or by loading them in to devices such as braille notetakers.  You can download individual parts of a book, an individual book, or an entire collection to your laptop computer, ebook machine, Road Runner, or portable notetaker (i.e. Braille 'n Speak).  You may also find greater access to electronic newspapers and your favorite magazine.  The world is waiting for you, just a keystroke away.
