Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education October Meeting

This October the Governor's Council on Disabilities and Special Education will be holding a community gathering and public testimony. The event will be held on Wednesday, October 5, from 7pm-8pm at the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority Building. If you would distribute the attached flyer and promote attendance at the public testimony, it would be much appreciated!
We want to know how members of the community feel about housing, employment, early intervention, education, transportation, family supports, and community inclusion. We would also like to hear individual's thoughts about what is working well, what is not working well, and solutions or ideas community members may have to improve any and all aspects of the lives of persons with disabilities.
